The Regional Coordination of Anti-violence Centers and Anci Emilia Romagna, on 22 September last, signed a memorandum of understanding to carry out initiatives and projects in support of women victims of violence.

They are 13 i Centers anti-violence which form the Coordination of development activities and the IT team;, most of which are also members of the national association D.i.Re, have been collaborating for years on projects for women victims of violence and collect statistical data on women who are welcomed every year.

The protocol signed by the president ANCI regional Daniel missing, reflects the memorandum of understanding signed on 16 May 2013 by D.i.Re and by the National Anci and provides for strong collaboration between institutions and anti-violence centers to improve the quality of interventions to combat male violence against women.

Among the objectives is to fill the gap in the shortage of beds for women victims of violence by inserting in District Health Plans and the social well-being of each territorial area an anti-violence center and a shelter house with adequate funding that gives stability to the project and encourages networking between institutions and anti-violence centers. Another important aspect of the protocol concerns the training that will be aimed at social health and justice operators who welcome requests for help from women and all activities to raise awareness of the problem of violence with the involvement of schools.

The contents of the Protocol and Guidelines for the fight against male violence, aimed at operators and operators of Social Services approved by the regional ANCI e D.i.re they will be presented to the local administrators and managers of the Municipalities, Unions and ASPs, and discussed with them, in a Seminar that will take place on 7 October in Bologna. It will be the first moment of implementation of the Protocol in view, moreover, of 25 November World Day against Violence against Women.
