The national association D.i.Re Women on the Net against Violence,
announces
with great pain the disappearance of prof. Anna Costanza Baldry.

A woman who has spent a good part of her life alongside women who suffer violence. An attentive and tireless researcher who was the first to understand the importance of preventing violence against women.

An international scholar who worked with us, as an activist and volunteer, certifying the SARA protocol, for the assessment of the risk of recurrence of male violence against women. Her research and her operational protocols are now a tool for many lawmakers, as well as for all the women who work in anti-violence centers. He gave her names to her works, while Sara was joined by EVA and ISA. All operational tools that have contributed to enriching the methodology with which our Centers welcome women.

Unfortunately today Anna, whom we loved and who showed us many and important ways to make women safe, did not do the same for herself.

Always busy on many fronts, she has spent all her energy on others. Lastly for the orphans of femicide in favor of which you have contributed with tenacity to request and to pass the law that protects them after the serious loss they have suffered, a law of civilization that allows them different types of recognition and support from the state. .

Today Anna leaves us prematurely, with the great emptiness that occurs when such a rich, brilliant and lively woman stops.

Hi Anna, all the women of our anti-violence centers will continue to use your work even in your absence. We will continue to walk our path with yours, this time silent, inevitable and fundamental presence.
