VOICES is an international project promoted by D.i.Re and Stigamot to prevent sexual violence among young people and improve support for survivors.
Voices of Impactful Change and Empowerment to End Gender-Based Violence (VOICES) is a project of the Network D.i.Re - Women on the Net against violence funded by Erasmus+ programme through theItalian Youth Agency, in collaboration with the Icelandic association Stigma meeting, which has been committed to preventing and combating sexual violence for years.
VOICES is aimed in particular at young women and men, and aims to build innovative, accessible and replicable tools across Europe.
D.i.Re - Donne in rete contro la violenza
It is the largest Italian network of anti-violence centers: 88 organizations present throughout the country. Every year it welcomes over 23 thousand women, promotes advocacy, awareness and training actions.
Stígamót – Iceland
It is a support center for survivors of sexual violence, with an open and intersectional approach. It has been working with girls and boys for years and also runs an anonymous online chat service.
The goal is to build a network of tools, educational practices, local actions and shared campaigns that can be adapted to different European contexts, always putting at the center the voices of the girls and boys, theirs right to healthy relationships and the experiences of survivors.
What We Do

VOICES involves young people aged between 18 and 25 in activities of discussion, listening and creation of concrete tools to recognise, avoid and combat sexual violence.

Through international training, VOICES strengthens the skills of the operators of the Anti-Violence Centers, improving the response to the needs of young women survivors.

We collect and analyze international good practices to improve interventions to support young survivors of sexual violence.
