Il Joint Staff Meeting was held on And June 23 24 2026 a Reykjavík and represented a central moment of discussion between the experts of the D network.iKing and the trainers of the Icelandic organization Stígamót. The main goal was share tools and methodologies for the prevention of sexual violence, reflecting on how to adapt them to the Italian context.

Before the meeting, both entities conducted a research on European best practices in prevention.

On the first day, participants presented their respective approaches and tools, critically analyzing intervention models and strategies for engaging young people, including through descriptions of related research. The second day was dedicated to adapting the most effective tools to the Italian context, developing a training plan that will be used to train Network D operators.i.Re which will be held in September 2025.

The meeting laid the foundations for more targeted and effective training, capable of improving the quality of interventions aimed at young women who are survivors or at risk of violence, thanks to the sharing of principles, approaches and methodologies.
