of experience. Here, classroom training sessions were intertwined with group activities, simulations, case study exercises, and participatory practices: an environment in which the participants' active experience itself became a learning tool.
The days dedicated to training and collective reflection allowed us to explore the specifics of working with women with migrant backgrounds and strengthen the professionals' ability to manage complex relationships, both with women who turn to anti-violence centers and within their teams. This represents a crucial step in building increasingly welcoming, competent, and transformative practices.
The NORA against GBV project, co-financed by the European Union and promoted by the Fondazione Realizza il Cambiamento and ActionAid International Italia ETS, aims to contribute to the prevention and fight against male violence against women in Italy by supporting, strengthening, and developing the capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs) active at the national, regional, and local levels. The project involves 50 organizations active throughout Italy, thus creating a network of change capable of listening to and responding to the specific and concrete needs of each territory and community.
