Among those present, several associations and movements that had already signed theappeal by D.i.King.

Interestingly, there was a strong presence of parliamentarians (Cecilia D'Elia and Valeria Valente spoke) who pledged to support the appeal's content.

"We are very satisfied with this first phase of a broad collective discussion that aims to build a plural movement – declares Cristina Carelli, president D.i.Re – Donne in Rete contro la violenza - This initiative aims to recognize the fundamental contribution of anti-violence centers to the development of truly effective policies for freedom from violence. We will continue to work together to achieve a common, shared, and broad-based mobilization for November 25th.” continues Carelli. “Women's freedom is increasingly under attack, and women know it: no one wants to suffer. Activists at anti-violence centers cannot and will not passively accept this plan, which presents so many critical issues for women.” concludes the president.
