Male violence against women, a complex, structural and transversal phenomenon, which very often also involves minors, increasingly requires a timely reading and the activation of effective responses and tools by institutions, anti-violence centers and associations who take it upon themselves. Ultimately, violence against women concerns the mechanisms of power and control in relations between men and women resulting from a patriarchal order in transition crisis and incapacity.

to accept and recognize female freedom and autonomy. Furthermore, it constitutes a serious threat to health, as the WHO reminds us and it is a crime that undermines the right to life and freedom of women.

The Istanbul Convention affirms "the need to promote socio-cultural changes in women and men, in order to eliminate prejudices, customs, traditions and any other practice based on the inferiority of women".

The meetings therefore propose to question oneself on the processes of change, to activate a shared reflection, to enrich the specialist training of each subject in the network, to share the indications of good practices suitable for making the support intervention easier and more integrated. women, to improve policies to prevent and combat male violence.

Recipients: the subjects that make up the network present on the provincial territory, for the protection and taking care of women victims of violence

Methodology: participated lessons through discussion and comparison. In each meeting, after the reports, ample space will be given to the debate between the operators present

The Order of Social Workers of the Tuscany Region has recognized 13 credits for the Social Workers who will participate in the meetings.
