D.i.Re – Donne in Rete contro la violenza notes the lack of awareness of the role of anti-violence centers in civil party constitutions.

"What is the purpose of civil party constitutions of women's associations in cases of femicide? To explain once again what is meant by femicide, what it means as an event in our society, to recall the definitions of the Istanbul Convention, still too often ignored in the courts” declares Antonella Veltri, president D.i.Re - Women on the Net against violence. "Maybe that's why they're scary. – continues Veltri – maybe that's why they are a nuisance in places of power. The voices of the anti-violence centers can be excluded from the trials, but we won't stay silent”Concludes Veltri.

In addition to this serious act of exclusion, the charge also arouses indignation and confirms the lack of knowledge of the phenomenon: the murdered woman is indicated as the cause of her own death.

"Until there is a correct reading of all feminicides, of every act of male violence against women, the good intentions of the institutions will remain just words. The anti-violence centers must be consulted and involved in a serious, systemic and continuous training and updating program that concerns all the people involved in dealing with situations of male violence against women” concludes President Veltri.
