It was presented on February 26, 2019 in Rome, at the headquarters of the Foreign Press, on Shadow report of women's associations for GREVIO, the Council of Europe's Group of Experts on Violence Against Women, in charge of monitoring the implementation of the Istanbul Convention in Italy.

The GREVIO experts will be in Italy for a series of meetings with representatives of institutions and civil society from 11 to 21 March. The Shadow Report - sent to the Council of Europe last October - is one of the documents on the basis of which they defined the monitoring mission program.

A packed room, with a large participation of representatives of associations, non-governmental organizations, representatives of trade unions, and among others also the president of the parliamentary commission on femicide, Senator Valeria Valente.
