The Government’s new Strategic Plan: without comparison, without transparency, without women.

An appeal to organizations and civil society for a change in governance and for a real involvement of experts from anti-violence centers

D.i.Re – Donne in Rete contro la violenza denounces the lack of coherence in the definition and implementation of adequate policies that start from a correct reading and interpretation of the patriarchal roots of the phenomenon. In light of the formal recognition by this government and its majority of being on the front line against violence, the National Anti-Violence Network claims the importance of recognizing the work of the Anti-Violence Centers with a gender approach.

For this, he launched an appeal all feminist associations and civil society all for the sharing of an appeal aimed at a collective barrier to the worrying excesses of this government.

"Let's be protagonists of a common, strong and determined mobilization – declares Cristina Carelli, president D.i.Re – Women online against violence.Let's give a collective response to the cultural change necessary for the freedom of all. We observe, in the actions of the government and the Department of Equal Opportunities – continues Carelli – a one-way, opaque method that ignores the value of co-design and does not take into account the experience of those who act every day for the liberation of women from patriarchal violence. We are convinced” – concludes the president – that the anti-violence system needs the vision and experience of feminist associations, which for decades have been an indispensable garrison in the protection of women and minors and in the prevention of the phenomenon and for this reason we wish to involve all the organizations active in this context".
