D.i.Re – Donne in Rete against violence is at the side of all women in their paths to freedom.

The experience of the operators and cultural mediators who refer to the reception methodology typical of the anti-violence centres D.i.Re it allows migrant women welcomed to experience sharing their story, listening without judgement, indications and advice to overcome the first objective difficulties and, above all, to embark on their personal path out of violence.

During 2022, the operators of the anti-violence network met approx 5200 migrant women in the various spaces that see them involved thanks to the project Leaving Violence. Living Safe, in partnership with UNHCR:

  • 2107 in the two Safe Spaces of Crotone and Lampedusa, from August to November
  • 3040 in the Blue dots on the north-east border, starting in April
  • Circa 50 in informal settlements in the area.

"We continue to be very concerned about the war in Ukraine and all wars, as well as the climatic and economic crises that create huge migratory flows. Welcoming women and girls forced to abandon their homes, their lives, makes us active - once again - to try to counter the threats to everyone's freedom, for a future of true hospitality and positive coexistence”Says Antonella Veltri, President of D.i.Re - Women on the Net against violence
