Throughout the month of May, Bold is Beautiful is back, the fundraising initiative of Benefit Cosmetics that has once again chosen D.i.Re among the associations to be supported by donating the proceeds of the eyebrow service provided in the Brow Bars located in 70 Sephora Beauty Stores throughout Italy.

From 1 to 31 May anyone who chooses to have their eyebrows drawn with tweezers by the expert Benefit beauticians will directly contribute to supporting the project Endowments of autonomy di D.i.Re.

Thus the project reaches its second year for Italy Bold is beautiful, launched by the founders of Benefit Cosmetics Jane and Jean Ford in 2015 and already active in 17 countries, thanks to which a total of over 11 million dollars have been raised, entirely donated to women's associations.

With the donation of the first Bold is Beautiful event of 2017 - equal to 97,500 euros - D.i.Re has devised a concrete project to support women who are preparing to build their new life, almost always together with their sons and daughters, after a period of welcome and stay in one of the shelters managed by the anti-violence centers of the network.

The "qualities of autonomy" are in fact nothing more than a contribution that allows you to face the "start-up" costs of the new life: pay the deposit for a rented apartment, buy small and large appliances or furniture, get a driving license to get more job opportunities or pay the babysitter so as not to have to give up a job at times that are not compatible with family life, but which represents an important step on the road to independence.

Currently 15 women in 10 cities are supported thanks to Benefit, and the number will grow again in the coming months.

The 22 edition of Bold is Beautiful was presented to the press on 2018 March in Milan. For D.i.Re Lella Palladino, president of the association was present.

The next stop is the 10th April, at the headquarters of the House of Battered Women in Milan (Cadmi): a group of young influencers selected by Benefit will thus have the opportunity to learn more about the work of anti-violence centers, the methodology that makes centers special D.i.Re and the importance of continuing to support - by having the eyebrows artfully arranged in May in a Sephora Beauty Store - the Doti of autonomy of D.i.Re.
